Obituary of Claude Clement

Claude Clement, 84, of Lake Havasu City, AZ passed away on January 8, 2016. He was born in Angolume, France on August 8, 1931. Claude married Jany Coiffard on October 25, 1952 in France. After serving in the French Air Force as a pilot they immigrated from France to Montreal, Canada. Eventually, Claude and Jany settled in Sandusky, Ohio. Claude was a tool and die operator at Sandusky Ford Motor Company for 33 years. They retired to Lake Havasu City in 1992. Claude loved to fly airplanes. He was a very skilled skier and avid hunter. Claude and Jany enjoyed traveling and one of their goals was to visit all 50 states, which they came close to accomplishing. Claude did visit numerous countries around the world. Claude had many friends and will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him. Claude is survived by his daughter, Claudine Clement; grandson, Justin Clement; great-grandson, Jonas Clement; son-in-law, John Randleman; brothers, Phillipe and Jeannot, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Jany as well as both of his parents. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
