Obituary of Geneva F Morris

Finevia Geneva Morris, 85, of Kingman, Arizona passed away peacefully on November 2, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born on August 29, 1931, in San Benedetto del Marsi, Italy. She lived in Upland, CA for 35 years and moved to Kingman, AZ in 2000. God called home the most beautiful wife, Mama, grandmother and friend anyone could ever ask for and she is finally reunited with her beloved, Glen. Finevia Geneva, is remembered as a loving, feisty, bossy, pretty, pretty princess that could always be found in the kitchen of DiCenso's Restaurant. It gave her great pleasure to know that everyone was happy and fed. She was truly the glue that kept our family together. Her little giggles, secret recipes, life stories and special prayers will always be held close to our hearts. She will be missed here on Earth, but just as God has gained an Angel at his throne, we have gained a Guardian Angel as well. She always made our troubles seem so small and had a way of making everyone fall in love with her. Her contagious love lives on inside each of us. She is never really gone as long as we keep her memories alive. Her presence will be with us from now to eternity. She is survived by her sister Pia Jackson, Tina DiCenso, brother Tony DiCenso, 5 children: Juliana (Randy) Mark, Floriana (Raymond) Hanna, Adriana Morris, Danny (Jennifer) Morris, John (Stella Brewer) Morris, nieces and nephews: David (Gino) DiCenso, Paula (Eric) Sather and Marilinda(Phil) Spilotro, 8 grandchildren: Jodi Morris, Michael Morris, Christopher Hanna, Dr. Jaclyn Jones, Shanta' (Jeremy) Abbott, Joslyn Jones, Raelene Hanna and Jordan Morris, 13 great grandchildren: Rocky Goff, Austin Goff, Rachelle Morris, Brentyn Hanna, Nicholas Morris, Deserae Hanna, Makayla Morris, Emma Abbott, Averie Abbott, Caydence Nix, Morgan Nix, Bella Morris & Matteo Jones. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lidia & Giovanni DiCenso, husband, Glen I Morris and Deanna Zell. There will be a visitation Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, 1701 N Stockton Hill Rd. Kingman AZ 86401. Services will be Monday, November 14, 2016 at10:00am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 302 E Spring St, Kingman AZ 86401 with graveside services following at Mt. View Cemetery, 1301 N Stockton Hill Rd. Kingman AZ 86401. There will be a luncheon after the graveside service at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
