Stephen John Milobar Jr. passed away in Lake Havasu City, AZ on October 24, 2016 with his wife Maria and son Stephen by his side. He was born on October 4, 1946 in Detroit, MI to Stephen and Lillian (Gorse) Milobar. He was 70.
Stephen was a proud soldier of the US Army from 1967-1970. He resided in Heidlburg Germany and then returned to Detroit, MI. where he was employed by General Motors in Detroit, MI for 17 years before moving to Lake Havasu City, AZ in 1988 and becoming a Detention Officer for Mohave County Sheriff Dept. He then worked as a Courtesy Patrol for Mohave Community College. He loved hunting, fishing, baseball, football and was an avid history buff on WWII and enjoyed spending time with his grandsons. Stephen was a great storyteller and a big practical joker. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 3rd degree.
Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Maria Milobar of Lake Havasu City, AZ; son Stephen J. (Brandi) Milobar III of San Tan Valley, AZ; grandsons, Ian and Alexander Milobar; brother, Gregory (Judy) Milobar; brother-in-law's, Salvatore (Gerilyn) Lupo, Thomas (Trudy) Lupo, Jack (Andrea) Lupo, James (Paula) Lupo. He dearly loved all his nieces and nephews as if they were his own children.
A Rosary will be said at 11:00AM with a Mass following at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church at 11:30 AM. A Reception will be immediately after the Mass in the Parish Hall. Burial will be at Arizona National Military Cemetery on November 23, 2016.
