Edward Anthony Lukosvicus
Born February 6, 1927 has passed into the arms of our Lord, October 19,2016 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona." Uncle" Eddie was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Anthony and Anna Lukosvicus.
At 17 he joined the Navy serving his country in the Florida Keys. He was honorably discharged and went to work as a Union meat cutter for over forty four years.
In 1954, Ed and his first love Barbara H. Lukosvicus moved to Brentwood, NY. In 1972 they moved to Southold, Long Island to raise livestock and farm. Ed worked as a butcher in the Hamptons and told wonderful stories about meeting television and movie celebrities who requested him to be their personal butcher.
He retired to Lake Havasu City with Barbara in 1990 to be closer to "family" and friends. Sadly he lost Barbara in 1995. Ed began working for LHC Parks and Recreation Dept. His fellow employees loved "Fast Eddie" and marveled at his work ethic.
In 1997 he found love again and married Anora Prudhomme. They enjoyed life together until her passing in July 2015. Ed enjoyed farming, fishing, hunting and his RV. One of his most memorable vacations was fishing in Alaska for Salmon and Halibut.
Ed is survived by William & Laura Masche, their three sons William N. (Jaxx & Jett), Bryan (Savannah, Bailey, Grant ,Cole, Molli, Blake), Robert & Jennifer (Michaela). His longtime friend of 62 years Judith Yolla and the entire Yolla, Palmieri and Masche families.
Our Uncle Eddie "Potato" Lukosvicus will be forever in our hearts.
