Richard Lee Glidewell passed away on March 5, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 61. He was born to Wilbur and Lola (Chesnut) Glidewell on March 28, 1951 in Monterey, CA. Richard moved to Lake Havasu City in 1976 and began working for the London Bridge Village doing ground maintenance. He also worked for Smoketree Elementary School in the 1980's as a Custodial Engineer, Creative Partner for Sunset Charter & Tour Co. from 2008 - 2013 and maintained the Memorial Gardens at Grace Espicopal Church from 2002 - 2012. He enjoyed the desert, horses, boating, hiking and the summer heat. He was a free spirit and loving person who lived life simply and enjoyed every experience. Richard was a great Dad, Son, Brother, Grandfather and Friend and will be truly missed. Richard is survived by his loving daughter Acacia Glidwell of Puhalania, HI; parents; Howard and Lola Minton of Taft CA; brother Jerry (Tarie)Glidewell of Merlin, OR; sisters Rebecca Glidewell of Taft, CA, Robin (Matt) Blevins of Ventura, CA, Regina Robinson of Ojai, CA and Diana (Darrell) Clegg of El Cajon, CA; and 2 grandsons.
