Obituary of Lawrence Sanders

Lawrence Archie Sanders, passed away in Lake Havasu City on October 10th, 2016 at the age of 85. Larry was born in Stevensville, Montana to Archie & Christine Sanders on May 11th 1931. Larry served in the US Army, was a Minnesota Highway Patrol Officer for 12yrs, before a medical retirement moved him to Arizona. He worked in the Phoenix area for many other companies utilizing his carpentry & mechanical skills before retiring to Lake Havasu. He enjoyed fishing, wood carving, and traveling. He also was a member of the Lake Havasu Coast Guard Aux. Larry is survived by his children, Kurt, James & Joyce. He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Bernice & daughter JoAnn. Funeral service will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church on October 30th at 2pm with Pastor Craig Corbin officiating. Donations can be made to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
