Obituary of Gladyce Jones

Gladyce Yvonne Jones of Lake Havasu City, Arizona passed away on October 7, 2016, at the age of 93. She was born to Oliver and Gladys (DuLett) Anderson on December 28, 1922 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Gladyce worked at a Naval Hospital in San Diego, California where she met and fell in love with a wounded WWII Marine; Charles W. Jones. They were married in 1946 and shared 61 blessed years together before Charles went to be with the Lord in 2007. Music was a passion of Gladyce's and she had a beautiful singing voice. She was a Sunday school teacher and member of the choir at her church in Montclair, California. She liked to sew, knit, and garden. She was resident of the Women's Club of Montclair, California as well. Gladyce is preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. jones; parents, Oliver and Gladys Anderson, and her siblings, Art, Argusta, Belva, Lionald, Orville, Donna, Meryle, and Marlene. She is survived by her sons, Edwin Jones, Robert Jones, and William Jones; sister, Jo Woods, and 5 grandchildren. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
