Harry Flaig, 80, passed away March 5, 2013 at Havasu Regional Medical Center, Lake Havasu City, AZ. Harry was born to John and Elsie Flaig October 15, 1932 at the family farm, in Alfred, ND. He farmed before entering the U.S. Army with his brother, Norman, January 25, 1954 serving 2 years at the Presidio of California He married Joanne Schlager August 13, 1960 in Jamestown, ND. They resided in Sacramento, CA for many years, Harry was in building maintenance and loved to travel, enjoying the mountains and ocean- Harry loved nature., he also enjoyed farm magazines, TV and eating. They recently relocated to Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Velma (Anton) Forsman, and two brothers, Lloyd and Norman. He is survived by his wife, Joanne of 52 years, two sisters, Delores (Jerry) Walsh and Jane (Wilfred) Henke, Jamestown, ND and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at the Stonebridge Christian Fellowship, Lake Havasu City, AZ. Inurnment at the Prescott National Veterans Cemetery, Prescott, AZ. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
