Julian Barney Melendrez, 88 of Kingman, Arizona was an educator, sales executive, inventor (2 U.S. patents), business owner, foster grandparent volunteer, WWII and Korean War Veteran, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, passed on October 6, 2016.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, D. Margaret Melendrez; brothers Arnold and Anthony of California and Delbert of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; sisters Gregoria and Mary of California; six sons, David, John, Marcus, Nolan, Zachary and Jacob; and six daughters, Catherine, Christine, Cynthia, Janita, Pamela and Tina.
He also is survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brother, one son and two daughters.
There will be a graveside service in Vancouver, Washington.
Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
