Sandra K. Russell, loving wife, mother and grandmother, aged 76, passed away on Monday September 26, 2016 in Kingman, Arizona. Sandra was born to the late Earl Rose and Katherine Rose on November 7, 1939. She was known to friends and family as "Sass", Grandma "Sass" and Aunt "Sass". Sandra was an avid walker and always kept very fit. She belonged to several walking groups and participated in numerous organized walks throughout the United States until Alzheimer's disease and complications as a result caused much dysfunction and lack of mobility. After retiring as the Secretary/Assistant to the principal at Los Gatos High School in California she and her husband Robert Russell moved to Washington State for many years and then to Kingman, Arizona. Sandra is survived by her husband of 29 years Robert Russell, sister Joanne Mooney-Einhacker, daughter Cindie (Mike) Ohare and her grandson Robert Ohare. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for Sandra during her stay at the Gardens at Kingman Assisted Living. Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory. Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com
