Obituary of Mary Collins
Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On September 29, Mary E. Collins, of Lake Havasu City, left with the angels to join her family in heaven. She is preceded in death by her husband John, sisters Catherine and Lillian, and Brothers John and James.
She is survived by her children, Kathleen Moon (George), John Collins (Marion), Mary Simpkins (Henry), and Michael Collins (Margie). She leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mary and John came to Lake Havasu in 1974 from Long Island, and never looked back. In 1975 Mary joined Claypools True Value in Lake Havasu, where she managed the store. From there she managed the Needles store before she retired in 1992.
Our mother had to be one of the sweetest, kindest, non-judgmental person that you could ever meet. Everyone she came in contact with, she embraced, and they embraced her. She loved people. Thank you to all her friends and neighbors for all the support they have given. The family is in your debt for your kindness.
Mary also leaves behind one of her most precious possessions, "HOPE", her cat, who will be living with her son Michael.
Mary requested that there be no services. Mary's favorite charity is Hospice of Havasu and The Western Humane Society if you would like to make a donation under Mary's name.
Arrangements were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory. Thoughts and condolences may be sent to Mary's family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com
