Peggy Ann Herrera, age 75, went home to be with the Lord, on August 14, 2016 due to complications from Parkinson's disease and Dementia. Peggy was born in Atkins, Arkansas, on December 8, 1940 to William and Edyth Arnold. Peggy was the oldest of four children. She is survived by her brother Shannon Arnold, her sons; Jon and Shane, several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father; William Arnold, her mother; Edyth Arnold, brother; Dennis Arnold, sister; Patsy Gabrielson, and oldest son; Steven Nilsson. As a child, Peggy and her family lived in both Arkansas and Missouri until about 1954 when they decided to move to Richmond, California. There she met and married her first husband, Don Nilsson. Together, they had three sons, Steven, Jon, and Shane Nilsson. After divorcing in 1976, Peggy met the man that she called the love of her life, Roberto "Eppie" Herrera. They were married in 1979. During her marriage to Eppie, Peggy began a very successful career as one of the top producing real estate agents for Prime Properties, located in San Pablo, California. In 1996, after her husband's retirement from Santa Fe Railroad, Peggy and Eppie moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where they enjoyed their retirement dancing, fishing, boating, completing crossword puzzles, and hanging out with family and friends. They were dedicated members of the Moose Club and Eagles Club of Lake Havasu City. Her sense of humor, quick wit and generous heart will be sorely missed. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Thoughts and condolences can be sent to the Herrera family at www.lietzfrazefuneralhome.com.
