Obituary of Michael Anthony May

Michael Anthony May, 57, departed this life on August 22, 2016 in his home due to complications from a heart attack the previous week. Mike owned Mike's Lawn and Yard Care in Lake Havasu for over 20 years, where his talents and passion for nature were able to flourish. He was an expert gardener, outdoorsman, and lover of the outdoors. He was an avid fan of the LA Dodgers, Nascar, and boat racing. He was by far John Wayne's biggest fan. Mike loved his countless friends, his customers, and the family he finally was able to have. He was preceded in passing by his father Bob, whom he spoke about often. He is survived by his fiancée Becky, of the home, her children Joel (Rachel) Alderman, TX, Ashley (Trey) Ralston, KS all of whom he cherished deeply. His mother Geri, LHC, and sister Michele, CA, as well as his furry sidekick Bella. He leaves behind a void in his family, and friend's lives that can never be filled. Mike was a kind, loving, welcoming man, and we will forever miss his smile, voice, laughter, and personality. In accordance with his wishes, a celebration of his life will be held this fall during the boat races he enjoyed so much. On August 18th when he left for work like he did every day, he said "I love you more, Becky" but today and forever, until we are reunited, "I will always love you more Mike."
