I just found out that my barber who over the last four years has become a dear friend of mine has passed away. One of the greatest men I've ever had the privilege of calling my friend, a man that would take over an hour to cut my hair, not because he was bad, but because we would get so lost in conversation, about life, music, cars, bikes, relationships, everything and anything to pass the time and enjoy each other's company. I never even knew what he charged. And every single time he'd finish for four years i'd hand him 25 dollars and he'd say " it was a good hair cut but it wasn't that good" and I'd say "15 for the cut and 10 for the company" every single time man. I'm really gonna miss you Manny, your friendship meant more to me than I could ever tell you. I'm really really going to miss you and the company we shared. Rest in peace Manny may you finally meet Stevie Ray Vaughan and listen to him play for eternity. If I could choose a heaven for you that would be it. I love you Manny I wish I could have told you before you started your new journey.
