Obituary of ROSA MARIA LARKINS

Rosa Maria (Lupo) Larkins passed away August 9, 2016 at the age of 90. She was born to Salvatore and Grace Lupo in Cleveland, Ohio on April 24, 1926. Rosa worked as a clerk for Packard Motor Car Company. This is where she met William Larkins. He was a WWII Army soldier who had just returned from serving in the South Pacific. They were married on April 17, 1948. In 1984, Rosa and Bill moved from Michigan to make their home in Lake Havasu City, AZ. They enjoyed going out to lunch every day and spent one day a week in Laughlin, Nevada. Bill passed in the fall of 2008. Rosa loved to talk and had a great memory. She was known for her amazing Italian cookies. She enjoyed spending time with family and trips to Laughlin to play video poker and slot machines. Hobbies included, watching television, sewing and knitting, shopping and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed golfing, bowling and was a fan of Diamondbacks baseball. Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, Salvatore and Grace Lupo and her husband, William Larkins. She is survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and even great-great nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 6:00PM. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
