Carl Victor Erickson, passed away on August 2, 2016, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was 89 years of age. Carl was born in Duluth, Minnesota on May 11, 1927 to Carl and Sophie Erickson. Carl lived in Lake Havasu City for the past 5 years. Prior to living here, he resided in Florence, Oregon for approximately 13 years. Carl was an excellent underwater welder and proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was a commercial contractor and developer. Carl owned a construction company in Renton, WA. He was a member of the Moose, Elks, VFW, American Legion, and Eagles. He was the band leader of “King Karl and his trio” which appeared on television. Carl enjoyed playing his accordion. He is survived by his loving wife Alta Erickson, of Lake Havasu City; daughters, Christine Wright and Joanne Foley of Minnesota. Carlotta Erickson of Montana, son David Erickson of Lake Havasu City, sister Jody Olson of Loma Linda, California, step daughters Linda Pityer of Wisconsin, Joanne Roberts and Janice Mitchell of California and many grandchildren.
