Obituary of ELIZABETH HENNINGER

Elizabeth, known to family and friends as Betty, 57, passed away peacefully at her home on August 7, 2016. Betty was born to the late Frank and Henrietta Matulka on June 18, 1959 in David City, Nebraska. On August 14, 1993 Betty married the love of her life, Thomas Henninger in Columbus, Nebraska. Betty was a successful real estate agent for over 18 years. She worked for Coldwell Banker in Lake Havasu City, AZ and was a part of the Real Estate Association. Betty loved spending time with her family by going boating as much as possible. She loved taking trips to the casino, wine tasting, and having date night with her Husband. She was a member of the Bunco Club and loved to play with her friends. Betty was a fun loving women who always had a smile on her face. Family always came first to her. She was also a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Betty is survived by her husband, Thomas Henninger of Lake Havasu City, AZ; son, Dustin (Amanda) Steinbeck of Showlow, AZ; daughter, Tiffany Taylor of Lake Havasu City, AZ; sisters, Carolyn Semrad and Henry Nekuda of Linwood, NE; and three grandchildren. Betty is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Henrietta Matulka. A visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 5:00 PM followed by a rosary service at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Friday August 12, 2016 at 10:00 AM, followed by a graveside at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
