Bernice Josephine Lipper passed away at the age of 89 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on August 3, 2016. She was born to Anthony and Josephine (Kaminiecki) Wulf in Toledo, Ohio on August 18, 1926.
Bernice Wulf grew up in Toledo where she met and married the love of her life, Ernest J. Lipper. They were married on November 29, 1947 and share 50 cherished years together before Ernest went home to be with the Lord in 1998. She was a factory worker for General Mills and retired after 30 years of loyal service. Knitting and crocheting was a favorite pastime of Bernice's. She made Christmas stockings for all the kids. She loved playing the slots and especially enjoyed playing penny poker with the Ladies Do Nothing Card Club.
Bernice is preceded in death by her husband; Ernest Lipper; parents; Anthony and Josephine Wulf, brothers; Stanley, Edward and Bernard and sisters; Stephanie and Alice.
She is survived by David (Tommy De Forest) Lipper and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Beacon of Hope Hospice staff for their kindness and requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in memory of Bernice to Beacon of Hope Hospice at 500 N Lake Havasu Ave, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.
A memorial mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 11:00 am.
