William Richard Scheel, born on January 1, 1937 in Middleton, Wisconsin to Richard Scheel and Ruth Sanders, died in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on July 5, 2016. William, also known as Bill, met and married his soul mate, Patricia Gail Burton, in Whittier, California on November 30, 1957. They spent a memorable and loving 58 years together. Bill had a Bachelor's Degree from Fullerton State University. He owned Master Fab in Corona, California for many years. He was a proud member of the Lion's Club, Elk's Club and the Lake Havasu City Water Department. He loved to golf and spending time with his family. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; Richard and Ruth Scheel and sister Helen Naughton-Nee Scheel. He is survived by his wife Pat, son, Kenneth Scheel, of Murrieta, California and daughter; Carole Molinatti, of Dana Point, California as well as 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Donations may be made in his name to Mt. Olive Lutheran Church's landscaping fund or Hospice of Havasu. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church at 1:30 p.m. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Thoughts and condolences may be sent to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.
