Our dear mother, grandma and friend Marina Green passed on July 1, 2016, surrounded by loving family. She was 87.
Marina was born on May 5, 1929 in Akron, Ohio, to Luigi and Marina Arturo.
Marina married the love of her life Sheridan Green Jr., on December 26, 1949 and eventually moved to Dolan Springs, enjoying 30 years there, until losing the house to a fire and then moving to Kingman. Sheridan and Marina were happily married for 45 years, until he passed away on May 5, 1995.
Marina was a kind, giving of her time and just a wonderful person. She was always there to help others out; giving her time, money or driving someone where they needed to be. Marina was just a great sweet lady. She was involved with the Dolan Springs Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9833 (Life Member for 30 years) and Dolan Springs American Post 88 (25 years).
Marina was preceded in death by Sheridan and her parents. She is survived by her daughters: Avis Collins, Marlene (Mike) O’Donnell, Gail (Greg) Rohrbach, Linda Green; Grandchildren: Colleen. Angelina, Marina ,Willie, Katherine Mary, Megan (Grant), Nicolas, Brandan; 7 Great-Grandchildren, 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren and many dear friends.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., July 13, 2016 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home, 1701 N Stockton Hill Road.
Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
