Obituary of Robert Edward Smith

Please share a memory of Robert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Robert Edward Smith, born on May 4, 1957 in Concord, California to John and Charmayne Smith, died, at the age of 59, on June 22, 2016 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Bob was a family man. He was a loving, devoted soul mate to Valerie, the very best father and even better grandfather. Family was his whole world and he was happiest when we were happy. When we were all together he was so proud and on cloud 9. His powerful love will always live on in his children and grandchildren. We will honor his legacy by remembering what he taught us: love and family is what matters most above all. RIP Dad. We love you. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; John and Charmayne Smith and his beloved family pets; Sinbad and Angel. He is survived by his wife; Valerie Denean Smith, son; RJ (Desiray) Smith, daughters; Kimberly (Sean) Shervais and Denean Smith, brothers; John "Guy" (Patty) Smith, Jim Smith and Tom Smith, and sister; Cindy Smith as well as his grandchildren; Neven, Nolin, Ethan, Jensen, Daxton and Danielle. A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on June 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Services were place in the care of Lietz- Fraze Funeral Home.
