For Many year we had a family xmas get together. The site would rotate to the home of someone here in Havasu. Could be at Eds, Bills, Mary's, or of coarse Jim's apartment. He lived on his owe by himself for most of his 42 years in Havasu. On this year it was at Jim's Apartment. We generally would eat, then open gifts and finally ware out our welcome. That was not to happen this year at Jimmy's We ate, we opened gifts and then Jimmy and his girlfriend Pam run us off. They had just had enough of us. Them being a couple that is. That was the only year Pam was it the get together. When Jimmy had her he didn't need anybody else. We had to go to Mary's and finish wearing out our welcome there. We can only grin when we remember that year. All form of holidays were important to Jimmy but that year he did not need family around that year! Ha!
Jim did his own transporting for many of those years. He could be seen walking to Kokomos Bar and Res under the bridge or to the bowling alley, church, etc. He was always on the move. Local police knew him and kept him safe in travels as the the staff at the bars and restaurants he would visit. They all miss you already as we do Jim. Your brother in law Doug.
