Kenneth Robert Long returned to his heavenly home on June 20, 2016. He was born March 2, 1935 in Bismarck, North Dakota to the late Robert and Lillian Long, of Bismarck, North Dakota. His first years of school were in Mandan and Glen Ulen, North Dakota, Forsyth, Montana and Oregon. The family moved to Bismarck, North Dakota where he attended Junior High and graduated from Bismarck High School in 1953. In his high school years he was a Golden Glove Boxer, a Football Player, sang in the Choir and a Cheerleader. He attended one year in Bismarck College, then went to work at American Oil Refinery until 1970. He married Lorraine Steckler and two daughters were born to that union. In 1970, he married Dora Mae Biech; they made their home in Fargo, North Dakota. He went to work at Welu Dental Lab as a Dental Technician in the fall of 1970, where he spent good and happy times there. He retired in 2001, and then they made their home in Kingman, Arizona. He is survived by his wife Dora Mae and 5 daughters; Cheryl Jones (Jack) of Bismarck, North Dakota; Shelley Yantzie (Mark) of Mandan, North Dakota; Cindy Svuem (Monty) of Kingman, Arizona; Teresa Sturn (Wayne) of Kingman, Arizona; Sheila Paulson of Fargo, North Dakota; 1 Brother; Richard Long (Sarah) of Gladston, Missouri; 3 Son-in-laws; 10 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; 1 Niece; 6 Nephews and 2 Sister-in-laws. Preceding him in death were his Parents; 1 Son; 3 Brother-in-laws; 1 Sister-in-law; Aunts; Uncles and Cousins. Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
