Obituary of Yvonne Beatrice Adie

Yvonne B. Adie 12/28/1926-6/6/16 Yvonne passed away in her sleep Monday, June 6, 2016 at Lake Hills Inn. She was born in El Centro, California to Cecilia and Edwin Cunningham, but grew up in Glendale, California where she attended Glendale High School and Glendale Junior College. On June 23, 1945 Yvonne married her Prince Charming, Harry M. Adie in Pasadena, California. At the time of Harry’s death they were married over 61 years. They adored each other and Harry called her Queenie. Harry and Yvonne enjoyed Jazz, the great outdoors, reading and their family. Yvonne had the kindest heart and was always smiling with the biggest dimples. She was the sweetest little lady and all who knew her loved her. Yvonne is preceded in death by her beloved husband; Harry Adie, her brother, Robert Cunningham and great grandson; Adam French. She is survived by her daughters; Linda McGovern, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Nancy Camara, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and Kimberly Frisk, of Litchfield Park, Arizona, son; Scott Adie, of Palm Coast, Florida, James Adie, of Carson City, Nevada and sister; Susan Gilliland, of Dolores, Colorado. Yvonne and Harry also leave behind 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and many step grandchildren. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral home.
