Please share a memory of Allan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Allan Michael Kruis left this world for the next, on May 31, 2016. Allan was born on December 31, 1955. Allan was a family man who loved deeply and lived life without fear. He grew up in Norco, California and began a career as a dairyman as a boy. He worked at the local dairy farms in Chino Valley for 25 years. In 1988 he met and then married the love of his life Lori Kay on April 7, 1989. Two years later, in 1991, he moved his family from California to Claremore, Oklahoma where they spent the next 25 years raising their five children that grew to be a family of 21. He retired in July 2015 from the City of Claremore and moved to Lake Havasu City in September 2015. A lifetime of hard working finally fallen by the wayside and a life of freedom and fun had commenced. He worked hard and played hard. Wherever Allan was a good time was sure to be had. He loved to fish, camp and explore the outdoors. He had a special love for his grandchildren and taught them to see the joy in the world. A popcorn connoisseur, movie lover, NASCAR fan, grandchild sports enthusiast, and animal lover. He took great pride in all he did and would always lend a helping hand to those in need. He made friends wherever he went and was always smiling and laughing.
Allan leaves behind his wife; Lori, his son; Adam Kruis and wife Julie, his daughters; Shalan and husband James Gibbs, Nicole and Billy Erwin, Amanda and Gabriel Stone, Shannon and Robert Cagg and 11 grandchildren; Jaxyn Stone, Tyler and Matison Kruis, Colton and Brooklyn Erwin, Tristan and Kamryn Gibbs, Devon Stines, Jessica and Evan Tucker and Timmy Cagg.
