William G Berry Sr., born on 6/14/1931, in Toledo Ohio the first born of Rexford Alden and Lillian Pearl (Griffith) Berry.
On 5/29/2016 Bill lost his battle with heart disease, he passed away peacefully at his home in Golden Valley, AZ with his loving wife and dog at his side.
Bill is survived by his wife of 35 years Theresa A (Queen) Berry; six children: William (Bonnie Folk) Berry, Jim Berry, Betty (Berry) Rangel, Debbie (Berry) Myers, Rose and Wanda Berry. 10 Grandchildren: Ben, Brooke, Janie, Jackey, Jenny, Cindy, John, Joe, Ray, Catera, 21 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, Two brothers Jim Berry, Wally (Sherry) Berry and multiple nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ray Berry and one son Johnny Berry.
He was a professional OTR truck driver for most of his life, he also worked at GMC as a young man and later in life worked in the casino field in surveillance and security as a manager and later as a consultant to several Native American Casinos. He loved racing cars as a young man, hunting, fishing, wood working and golf.
Bill loved the Lord and has now gone home. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted by Living Waters Hospice in Golden Valley, AZ. Memorial Service will be held at a later time.
Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
