Obituary of Norma Soto
Please share a memory of Norma to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Norma Soto passed away in her son Daniel's arms at the age of 82 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on April 30, 2016. She was born in Santiago, Chile April 15, 1934.
Norma grew up in Chile and came to America with her mother by way of cargo ship when she was 19 years old. This is where she met her true love, Francisco Soto, a Cuban immigrant who had escaped to America just a few weeks prior. They met and fell in love in New York and were married just 3 months later on October 19, 1962. They shared a life filled with love for almost 50 years when Francisco was called to be with the lord in 2012.
Sewing, knitting and cooking were some of the things Norma liked to do. She also had her favorite TV shows she enjoyed watching. She got a kick out of giving her boys a hard time and family was the most important thing to her. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who led by example and created a strong foundation of family values to be carried on.
Norma is survived by her sons; Daniel (Jennifer) Soto and Frank (Onelia) Soto of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, her grandchildren; Kelcy, Frankie, Xavier, Iris, Sarai, and Robert and one great-granddaughter Hallie. She also leaves behind her little yorkie Morgan.
Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Thoughts and condolences may be sent to Norma's family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.
