Anna Hildegard Bamsch passed away peacefully at home at the age of 87 on May 1, 2016 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She was born to Rudolph and Rosina Link in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany on August 18, 1928.
Anna Link was raised in Germany and that is where she met and fell in love with a soldier serving his country in the United States Army named Albert Walter Bamsch. They were married in Frankfurt, Germany on July 17, 1948 and they shared 41 wonderful years together raising a family before Albert passed away in 1989.
All God's creatures had a special place in Anna's heart. She liked to crochet, knit, cook and loved to go on family motor home trips. She was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother and she will be greatly missed.
Anna is preceded in death by her husband Albert Bamsch Sr., her parents Rudolph and Rosina Link and her sister Irmgard Katarina Barrett.
She is survived by daughter Nancy Holck of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, her sons Albert Bamsch Jr. of Prescott, Arizona, Mike (Rose) Bamsch of Garden Grove, California, Gerhard Bamsch of Moreno Valley, California, Steven Bamsch of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, her 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and her adorable pet Ziva.
A funeral service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations are made to Hospice of Havasu.
