Obituary of Emily Aline Bramlett

Emily Aline Bramlett January 23rd, 1980 – May 3rd, 2016 Emily Aline Bramlett, age 36, passed away on May 3rd surrounded her loving family. Emily was born on January 23rd, 1980 in Michigan to Ralph and Barbara (Bailer) Bramlett. She was a resident of Lake Havasu for 31 years. Emily was a true warrior who lived far beyond what the medical community predicted. She handled all the obstacles in her life with a sweet, spunky spirit. She loved her family, her dogLilly, the Detroit Redwings, her 69 Mustang, Michael Franti, and food. Emily enjoyed creating beautiful quilts with her Grandma Aline. The two of them donated many quilts to battered women shelters. Emily was also famous for her chocolate cake and her mac and cheese. She loved to travel and made many trips, including New York, Boston, Rhode Island, Colorado, California, and of course many trips to watch her Red Wings. Emily was true inspiration to anyone who knew her. She had the strength and determination to overcome many obstacles. She met every challenge with grace and an electric smile. Emily's smile is something all of her friends and family will cherish forever. Emily is survived by her parents, Ralph and Barb Bramlett, Grandma Aline Bailer, sisters Molly (Michael)Thomas, Rebecca (Brian Murphy) Bramlett,brother Raymond (Becky) Bramlett. Emily was especially proud of being an Aunt to Devin, Isaac, Cade, Miles, and Ella. Emily would also like to recognize the special relationship she had with her doctor and friend, Roy Jedeikin, who was a part of her life for 29 years. A Celebration of Emily's Life will be held on Saturday, May 14, at 11 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church. The ever-stylish Emily wanted everyone attending to wear bright colors. In lieu of flowers, Emily requested donations be made to Grace Episcopal Church or The Humane Society. Emily, your family and your wide range of friends will miss you but will always remember your example of dealing with the hard stuff with inner strength and positivity.
