Frank Raymond Mauro passed away at the age of 84 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on April 16, 2016. He was born to Anthony and Marie Mauro on January 13, 1934 in White Plains, New York. Frank lived many places such as Connecticut, California and Colorado until he retired to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was a jack of many trades. He was a contractor, antique dealer and real estate appraiser. He also did some boxing when he was young. He loved sports and was a Little League coach. Additionally, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing horse shoes, bowling and Pickle Ball and was a member of the Lake Havasu Pickle Ball Association. He was a writer of stories and was known for his golf cart travels around Lake Havasu Island. He was known as "Poppy" to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved life and most of all he loved his family. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Anthony Mauro and Marie Testa Mauro and his sister Rose. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years; Mary Mauro of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, his sons Brad Mauro of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, William Mauro of Littleton, Colorado, Frank (Cindy) Mauro of Aurora, Colorado, his daughter Linda (Jack) Belanger of Connecticut, his brother Anthony (Sylvia) Mauro of Meriden, Connecticut, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
