Dennie Dwaine Meador “Red” passed away in Lake Havasu City, Arizona at the age of 75 on April 18, 2016. He was born on December 19, 1940 in Stephenville, Texas.
Red was proud to have served his country in the United States Army. He was a huge NASCAR fan and loved all kinds of racing. He built and drove race cars and always frequented the local race track. He owned and operated “Reds Place”; a popular bar in Lake Havasu City, for many years. His favorite basketball team was the Utah Jazz and he enjoyed watching them and many other sports on TV. His greatest love of all was his family.
Red is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bobby and Billy Joe Meador.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Joann (Troy) Wilkes of West Jordan, Utah, Denise (Ken) Gillespie of Olathe, Kansas, his two grandchildren Whitney (Mark) and Zachary and one great-grandson on the way.
