Obituary of Brenda Sue Brown

Brenda Sue Brown passed away in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, on April 10, 2016. She was born on June 25, 1952 in Michigan to Bud and Geraldine Burkes. At a young age, Brenda moved with her family to California. She spent most of her life enjoying the California coast moving to Hesperia in 1992, Huntington Beach in 2002, and Westminster in 2010. On August 24, 2013 Brenda and Harold were wed in a beautiful ceremony at Westgrove Calvary Chapel in Garden Grove, California. Together they moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona, one year later, where they bought Brenda’s dream home. Brenda loved church, Elvis Presley music, and traveling. Her 10 grandchildren were the joy of her life. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Geraldine; children, Kody Robert Kessler, and Rebecca Sue Caley; brothers, Buddy and Kenneth Burkes. She is survived by her loving husband of 3 years, Harold Brown, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; son, William Caley, of Costa Mesa, California; daughter, Susan Wood, of Anaheim, California; and her brothers, Michael Burkes, of Escondido, California, Donald Burkes, of Menifee, California, and Gregory Burkes, of Garden Grove, California.
