William G. Narro “Bill” passed away March 24, 2016 at the age of 86 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born to Joe and Maria Narro-Henning on March 1, 1931 in the city of Saltillo in Coah, Mexico. Bill was a fire fighter for the city of Detroit, Michigan for 30 years where he saved the lives of countless strangers. He married his love Phyllis on August 5, 1951 in Traverse City, Michigan and shared 65 years together. He loved taking care of his family and friends and enjoyed traveling with them. Bill never knew a stranger. He took pride in taking care of his home and he loved his church. He was a member of Living Word Family Church and the Fire Fighter’s Association. Bill is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Maria Narro, wife Phyllis J. Narro and his son William Narro. He is survived by his daughters Jennie Narro, Susan (Gary) Engle, Christina (Richard) Kolasky, son Kenneth (Lisa) Narro, grandchildren William Silva, Rebecca Huer, David Narro, Sharon Hand, Joseph Kolasky and numerous great-grandchildren. A private memorial service is to be held at a later date. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
