Thelma Mayworm Thelma Mayworm, 90, passed away peacefully at her residence on July 18, 2014. Thelma was born to the late Carrie and Garfield Rice on August 26, 1923 in Manitoba, Canada. Thelma grew up in Michigan and moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ in 1977. She began her lifelong career as a real estate broker in 1978. She was instrumental in helping so many fulfill their dream of home ownership in the town that she loved. She was an active member of both the Board of Realtors Association and the Real Estate Women's Council. She was also a member of the local Elk's chapter and the Western Welcome Group. Thelma is survived by her children, Ellen Wise, of N. Las Vegas, NV and Randy Lee Rollison, of San Francisco, CA; stepchildren, Father James Mayworm and Dexter Mayworm, both of Florida, Barbara Mayworm, of Virginia and son-in-law, Fred Bizovi. She also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, as well as, numerous great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Rollison in 1961 and Albert Mayworm in 1986, her parents, Carrie and Garfield Rice; sister, Linda Bizovi; step-sister, Connie Rowe; and great grandchild, Claire Riley. Throughout her many years in the community, she established many connections and made many life-long friends. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. A memorial mass will be held for Thelma at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10:30am. Father Paul Pulimalayil will be officiating and offering words of comfort. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Thelma's name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.
