HARRIETTE SHOTWELL Harriette Kelley Shotwell, age 84, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014, in Bullhead City, Arizona. She is survived by her sons, Jack (Cathy) Anderson of Golden Valley, Arizona, James (Kimberly) Shotwell of Long Beach, California; daughter-in-law, Nancy Anderson of Fort Mohave, Arizona; step-daughters, Gail Pai of Oceanside, California, Brenda (Roy) Rezentes of Waianai, Hawaii, Barbara (Charles ) Ellis of Ainsdale Village, England; brother, William (Lillie) Kelley of Bullhead City, Arizona,13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 8 nieces and 7 nephews. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Dale Anderson in 1960 and Hurman Allie Shotwell in 1995, and son Kelley Eugene Anderson, in 2012. Harriette was born in Murray Hill, Iowa in 1929 and lived in Sigourney, Iowa until moving to California in 1942. She graduated from Barstow High School in 1948. She worked in Kelley's Café in Daggett, California and in the Daggett Post Office, before moving to Bullhead City in 1970. From 1975 to 1990, she owned and operated Ms. Fashion'Elle, a ladies apparel store, with Lillie Kelley. She was a former member of the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce (serving on its Board of Directors and as Vice President), the Bullhead City Chambermaids, Hope United Methodist Church, and the Chaparral Country Club. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM - 8:00PM Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at Hope United Methodist Church, 1325 Ramar Road, Bullhead City, Arizona. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at Hope United Methodist Church. Interment will take place at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia.
