Frank Elmer Marley, 76, of Golden Valley went to meet his Lord on Saturday, August 2, 2014. He was born on May 4, 1938, in Shawnee, OK., to Revs. Paul and Ruth Marley. Over the years he served in the Merchant Marines, Navy and the Army Reserves. He lived in Sacramento, CA., until he moved to Golden Valley in 1990 and resided there until his passing. Frank is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara; five children, daughter Mary Zunica of Turlock, CA., son Frank T. (Cindy) Marley of Kingman, daughter Crystal (James) Brinkerhoff of Helena, MT., son George (Stephanie) Marley of Carmichael, CA., and son Rex (Shelly) Marley of Golden Valley; three sisters; Betty Ryden of Braderton, FL., Edith (Doyle) Van Veckhoven of Sacramento, CA., and L. Jo ( Robert) Townsend of Roseville, CA.; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and many other relatives. Frank was a good man and will be missed by his family and friends. There will be no services. In support of life, his body will be donated to advance medicine through Science Care, a whole body donor program.
