Obituary of Don Garrison

Don Garrison was born on February 5, 1943. He grew up in Salem, OR and in 2012 Don and Christine moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ. Don is survived by his wife, Christine Garrison; his sister, Linda Garrison; four children, Tim Garrison, Lindsey McQuillan, both from Salem, OR, Erin Senescall from Seattle, WA, Jamie Stillwell from London, AR; 8 grandchildren, Jamison Garrison (aka Birdy), Arian and Abel Stillwell, Dylan and Audrey Senescall, Ruby and Jasper Garrison and Cole McQuillan, and his forever loved boxer, Macy. To everyone he met, Don was known to have a firm handshake and a warm smile. He was a self-made entrepreneur that had several successful ventures throughout his life. It may be a thousand mile motorcycle ride or a ten year car restoration, he never wavered; he was a committed man. Don garnered strength from his strong faith in the Lord and a group of lifelong friends. He courageously served his country in the U.S. Army and was deeply affected by his time of service. The combination of a fast razor ride and the tranquility of the desert suited his personality. He cherished the friendships he made while exploring the desert. Don treated all animals with kindness, especially his dogs which he treated like a member of the family. Don was a very generous man, always wanted to help others and with words of encouragement, a pat on the back and a big smile. He will be greatly missed.
