Obituary of Royal Delano Davis

My beloved husband, Royal Delano Davis, 79, a 21 year resident of Lake Havasu City, AZ, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014. Royal (Dell) was born October 12, 1934 in Whitewater, CO. He loved fishing, hunting, any outdoor activity, football, demolition derby, history, country music and he had a passion for aircrafts. He worked in the uranium mines and had various other jobs including Greenspot Manufacturing in California and Sterlite Corporation in Arizona. Dell was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Opha Marie Davis; sister, Verna Marie Fiscel. Dell is survived by his wife, Lynette Joy Davis, of Lake Havasu City, AZ; daughter, Ardith Marie Moring, of Dateville, AL; sons, Albert Leroy Davis, of Dothan, AL and David Wesley Davis, of Orem, UT. Also, brothers, Mahlon (Dave) Davis of Austin, CO, James Wesley (Wes) Davis and Raymond (Ray) Davis of Grand Junction, CO; sisters, Nadine Smith of Fruita, CO, Melissa St. Clair, of Lone Pine, CA and Kathy Davis, of Grand Junction, CO. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Dell was adored by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in California.
