Ramsay James Bain, 91, passed away August 17, 2014. He was born to the late James and Rose Bain on December 30, 1922 in Los Angeles, California.
Ramsay and wife, Rita wed in Pasadena, California sixty-six years ago. They were twenty-eight year residents of Arizona. He was a WWII veteran of the United States Coast Guard, serving the western coast as an air sea rescue man. Ramsay also worked for Fluor Corporation as an electrical design engineer for thirty-three years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge for fifty-four years. He loved to hunt, fish and wood work.
Ramsay is survived by his wife, Rita Bain, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; sons, Brent Bain, of Eagle River, Alaska, Blake (Suzanne) Bain, of Goodyear, Arizona; grandchildren, Joshua Bain, of Pasco, Washington, and Jessica (Reagan) Walker, of Buckeye, Arizona and great-grandchildren, Wyatt Walker and Easton Walker, of Buckeye, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Rose Bain.
Funeral services will be held for Ramsay on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 12:30PM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona.
