Bernard Alan Ziegler, passed away September 3, 2014 at the age of 69. He was born on March 22, 1945 to Bernard Ziegler and Wilma Luze in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Bernard and wife Beverly Funk Feltis were wed on May 19, 1990 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in June of 1992. He worked for Ford Proving Grounds for fourteen years and then drove shuttle for new military recruits traveling between Lake Havasu City and Phoenix.
Bernard is survived by his wife, Beverly, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; son, Larry (Cory) Ziegler, of Luverne, Minnesota and a daughter, Laurie (Eric) Amundson of Brandon, South Dakota; two step-daughters, Kelli (Birgit) Huwer, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Shana (Dave) Arcudi of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, as well as eleven grandchildren, one great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Ziegler and Wilma Luze; sister, Starr Janssen; step-son, Jon Feltis, and step-daughter, Deanna Feltis.
No funeral services will be held. Butch chose body donation through Science Care of Phoenix to aid science in research.
