Obituary of Ruth I Graham
Please share a memory of Ruth to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ruth Inez Graham passed in peace, during the early morning hours of September 13, 2014. She lived along the Colorado River for over 50 years and her family lives along its shores to this day. Ruth will be remembered for the hard working spirit she gained taking care of her many siblings and later owning her own hotel in Parker, but more importantly, she will be known for the generosity she shared with others. Lake Havasu City was grown and built by many pioneers; Ruth, and her beloved husband, A. E. Bud Graham, were among them. Known for their contagious laughter and kind spirits, Bud and Ruth carved a part for themselves in Lake Havasu City history by being generous, industrious, and loving.
Ruth is preceded in death by her siblings, daughter Cindi, and her loving husband Bud. She is survived by her grandchildren, Justin and Cory Harrison, Barb Young, Mike Graham, Summer and Brandon Jensen; her great grand-children, Kali, Connor, Braedon, Jackson, Summer, Laila and Soleil; and her step children, Don Graham and Judy Jensen.
We are grateful to those that were dear friends to Ruth, and those that cared for her these last few years, they include: Kathy Hodel, Arthur & Glenda Laird, Lou Costa, and the wonderful people at Hospice of Havasu. "Thank you all for loving her so completely."
In lieu of flowers or gifts, her family asks that in the spirit of Ruth, you pay it forward in random acts of kindness. Buy a stranger dinner or get someone's groceries at the store; that's the type of goodwill Ruth tried to spread, and that's what her family wants to carry on.
Arrangements were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Thoughts and condolences may be sent to Ruth's family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.
