Virginia Lee Schultz Warrick Lyons Virginia was born February 17, 1939, to Lester V. Schultz and Barbara Lorraine Douglas, in Crete, Nebraska and was an only child. Most of her earlier years were spent either in Nebraska or California. Her civil service career started as a clerk stenographer at the Long Beach Naval Shipyard. Thirty years later, she retired as an office manager working for Administrative Law Judges in the office of Hearing & Appeals. Virginia met the love of her life, Robert Lyons, in 1965 and they were married in 1967. After Bob retired in 1990, they moved to Lake Havasu City from Southern California. She loved to play cards and get together with friends. Mah Jongg was a recent addition. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Merle Robert Lyons. Virginia is survived by her step-daughter, Patty (Joie) Perea of Kingman; step-son, William Lyons of Seal Beach, CA; step- granddaughter, Jennifer Stanfill; step-grandsons, David (Leia) Lyons and Steven Lyons; and step-great-grandsons, Chandler Stanfill and Gavin Stanfill. Graveside services will be held for Virginia at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 10:00AM. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
