Ron's Obituary Ronnie Geer Born May 20, 1942 Passed Away October 2, 2014 Services Leitz-Fraze Funeral Home21 Riviera Blvd., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 (928) 855-4949 December 13, 2014 at 10:00am Celebration to follow at Geer home Ron was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Joe and Gladys Geer to become part of a family of 7 boys. As a baby his parents moved him and 2 older brothers to California the Bakersfield area and the family eventually settled in Huntington Beach, California where Ron attended and graduated from Huntington Beach High School in 1960. Ron's passions, hobbies and life revolved around family, drag racing (boats and cars), NASCAR, classic cars and street rods. Ron met Jackie in Huntington Beach and were married on September 28, 1985 in Las Vegas, NV they lived in the Huntington Beach / Westminster, CA area. In 1993 they moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ where they fell in love with the area and bought their home. Ron continued his love of cars and bought his first street rod, a 32 Ford HiBoy. Then he joined his car club "The Over The Hill Gang" eventually he traded the roadster for his 56 Chevy. October 2, 2014 Ron passed away suddenly in his home. Ron is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jackie, 2 brothers Paul and Gaylen their wives Susan and Diane, nephews Michael, David, Kinney and nieces Kathy, Debbie their families and many MANY lifelong friends. "…Think of a time I made you laugh A story or joke I told in the past…" In lieu of flowers please donations to American Heart Association, the Diabetes Association or hospice would be much appreciated. Ron's final gift was that of the gift of sight to an Arizona Woman. So in Ron's honor consider becoming a donor. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
