What a beautiful photo of Aunt Mary! I remember wonderful childhood hours at Aunt Mary and Uncle Johnny's house with my awesome Knoll cousins - picnics, 4th of July fireworks, the giant "sandbox" under the tree, playing kick the can in the dark, and somehow Laurie was always hanging clothes on the line! I remember a chart she made to reward the girls for practicing piano. If they didn't practice they went in the dog house! I was actually jealous of the that chart! I don't know why because I would of been in the dog house a lot! Thank you Mary and Johnny for being a terrific example of hard work, faithfulness, fun, and treasuring family.

Aunt Mary was very special to me. When I was a baby, Aunt Mary was my babysitter when my mom decided to get back in the workforce. Aunt Mary helped to raise me. She has always been very special to me! I am so glad that we have remained close over the many intervening years. Our visit with her in June 2015 holds special memories. RIP, sweet Aunt Mary
