Obituary of Donald Dean Mumford

Donald Dean Mumford passed from this life on October 14, 2014. He was born February 20, 1932 in Oshkosh, Nebraska to Fred and Blanche Mumford. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Blanche Mumford, his sister Joanne and his first wife Norma. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Donna, his 2 sons Don Jr and Murray; his daughters Jacquie and Sherrie all of Colorado. He is also survived by step-sons Greg Mills of Farmington, NM, David Mills of Denver, CO and Pam Miller of Casper Wyoming. Don loved to fly and had his private pilot's license. He built a Mooney Mite and enjoyed flying it with the other Mooney Mite Owners. They had a lot of fun in those little planes. Don was also an avid golfer and met many friends on and off the golf course. He was the Valle Vista Club Champion 1 year and played many courses around the state.
