Debbie June Pugh October 14, 2014 Debbie June Pugh passed away quietly in her sleep in hospice care in Las Vegas, NV on October 14, 2014. Sadly, cancer took her life very quickly at the very young age of 53. She is now pain free and at peace in God's arms but so missed by her those who loved her. Debbie was born in Batavia, NY in 1961 to Mahlon and Alice (Doty)Davis. After living in NY State for many years, she and her young son, Gerry, moved to Lake Havasu City along with her mother, Alice, in 1990. Debbie worked for Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home for 15 years and was instrumental in the creation of The Family Pet Crematory. In 1999, Debbie married Robert John Pugh. In 2012, Debbie and RJ made Pahrump, NV their home. She was a special lady with a big heart who loved her family, friends and pets. Debbie is survived by her parents, Alice and Wallace (Buddy) Opie of Lake Havasu City, husband, Robert John Pugh of Pahrump, NV and her young son, Gerry Ebel, of Kearney, NE. She is also survived by step-brother, Fletcher Opie (Char) of Phoenix and step-sisters, Della Pearcy (Earl) of Prescott Valley, AZ and Marie Miller (Bryan) of Gilbert, AZ. Other survivors include Doty family Aunts Jean, Beth and Marj and Uncles Jim, Phill, Tom, Rob and Rex in NY State, Florida and Kentucky. Also numerous cousins she so enjoyed being with again at the family reunion in NY on May of 2013. Also survivors include the Ditzel family step-sister, Patricia (AZ) and step-brothers, Tom, Bill, Bob and David (NY). Very dear to Debbie's heart was her step-niece, Barbie (AZ). Her Davis birth NY family survivors include Aunt Naomi and Uncles Richard and Keith and a special cousin, Sheri Lynn she kept in touch with. Her surviving pet yorkies she loved dearly are O.D., Shena and Zebu. She knows RJ will continue their loving care.
