James (Jim) La Point 8-14-1934 to 10-27-2014 Age 80 Passed away in Lake Havasu City, Arizona Parents- Maximillion and Genevieve La Point Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin He had three brothers, Bob, Jack, and Dick He married the love of his life in February 9th 1957 they had three children Charles, David, and Kathryn. Jim was in the Army for two years and then joined the fire department and eventually became captain for the fire department in Compton, California. He and his wife retired in Mohave Valley Arizona, Living life on the river, he got up every morning went to the patio and Yelled TOUGH LIFE. He is survived by his wife, Arminda La Point, daughter, Kathryn Rehider, son, David (denene) La Point. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Charles La Point, brothers, Bob, Jack, and Dick, and great-granddaughter Vallory Jane Perea. Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved and missed and very dear.
