Ilene M. Kelly, 86, of Kingman, Arizona, formerly of Hesperia & Desert Hot Springs, California, passed peacefully on October 28, 2014, at Kingman Regional Medical Center in Kingman, Arizona. She was born December 2, 1927 in Belmar, NJ to Howard and Elizabeth (Williams) Smith. Ilene was a homemaker for her husband and her children. She lived with her daughter Patricia Kelly in Kingman, AZ for the last three years of her life. Before living with her daughter she lived in Desert Hot Springs, CA and enjoyed all her friends at the VFW Post 1534 where her husband Robert F Kelly was Commander in 1999-2000. She loved her family, friends and was always full of life and always had a smile on her face. Ilene romantically went to heaven on her husband's death anniversary. Ilene is survived by her three sons, Robert F Kelly Jr. of Carson, CA., John H Kelly of Hesperia, CA and James E Kelly of Chino, CA; daughter Patricia I Kelly of Kingman, AZ;11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Ilene was preceded in death by her late husband of 48 years, Robert F Kelly of City of Orange, NJ A viewing will be held Friday November 21, 2014 at Kern Hesperia Mortuary, 9:00 am - 12:30 pm with graveside service to follow 2:00 pm at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA.
