Hobert Morris Ray Sr., age 76, of Lake Havasu City passed away, Sunday, November 2, 2014 at home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Hobert was born May 6, 1938 in Vandalia, Illinois. He is the son of the late Harry Francis and Lula C (Taylor) Ray. He married Patricia Joan in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 26, 1957. Hobert served in the Navy where he received a National Defense Service Medal and was later employed by the Santa Fe Railroad as a machinist. Hobert had a passion for classic cars, aviation, small crafts, dancing, trains, and wood-working. Hobert is survived by his wife, Patricia Joan Ray, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; three daughters, Deborah L Fonte, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Doreen L Ray-Raigosa (Mark), of Long Beach, California, Diana L Wadley (Dain), of Escondido, California; and daughter-in-law, Jacquelyn Ray, of Apple valley, California. He is Preceded in death by parents, Harry Francis and Lula C Ray; son, Hobert M. Ray ll; brother, Harry Ray Jr. and sisters, Alma Berry and Chloe Tipton. Hobert possessed a fullness of life and an abundance of love for family and friends. Services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Chapel (21 Riviera Blvd, Lake Havasu City, Arizona.) and on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Desert View Memorial Park (11478 Amargosa Rd, Victorville, CA 92392).
