Jim Marshal Dau, 72, passed away on February 4, 2016 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on August 1, 1943 in Chicago, IL. He met Mary Louise Miller in Phoenix in 1987 where they were wed over 25 years ago on February 16, 1990. They moved to Southern California in 1990 and were regular visitors to Lake Havasu City since the early 1990's.
Jim served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a design engineer for Motorola. He enjoyed gold mining, sailing, Ham Radio, and the sunshine. He was a member of the Outdoorsmen's Club, Havasu Gold Seekers, and the Men's Club is San Diego for over 20 years. He was a naturalist and a photographer for Gay Pride Parade for 16 years. He loved his family and friends and he loved making his wife happy. James had a huge heart.
Jim is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Dau of Coronado, CA; son, James Lloyd Evans (Wendy) of Glendale, AZ; daughter, Beth Ann Walsh (Mike) of Benson, AZ; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 1 sister, and grandson, Patrick Walsh.
